Added to the British List by Speight & Chandler (1995)2. Very similar to P. tibialis and can only be separated by examination of the male terminalia.
Only known from Ireland in the British Isles. Records come mostly from limestone pavements of The Burren. It has been looked for in limestone pavements of NW England but, so far, without success.
